Thanks for posting this gig on the blog. On the big night itself my ageing computer crashed halfway through the second number never to recover. I guess the emotion of Django's century was all too much for it. Fantastic to be able to see it now, really liked the set with its eclectic variety mixed with some classic Django.

Many thanks

Loved the feed and will tune in any time! I admire the expression you bring to the music. Feeling it even over the intertubes, for sure. Thanks!

Hi Robin .
I tried to watch live from here in England (slowest broadband in Europe?) and could only catch a few seconds at a time. Been trying afternoons and can watch around four minutes before the transmission crashes. However the concert is a great idea and I thought your sound and the tone you got from you highly skilled technique was excellent. I loved the introduction of new material to push the genre forward (Every Breath you Take) and look forward to getting passed Bossa Dorada successfully in the near future.
Very best wishes

Thanks for making the video available after the show, Robin, since I wasn't able to watch it in real time. You and your bro sounded beautiful as always. Great choice of tunes too!

Thanks for recording and posting this, Robin. Couldn't watch it live, but I watched the whole show after the fact. Great song selection and fantastic playing, as always!

Hello Robin,

That was a very fun idea, and celebrating Django's birthday is a great way to bring this music more attention. We organized a special party here on Bainbridge Island; and we had a respectable 80 people attend, even though it was a bit of a last minute thing. National Public Radio here in the US did a five minute story on D's birthday, that might have helped raise attendance, too. We are definitely planning on doing it again next year -- and we think we all should adopt this as an annual event. Cheers! Mike Sciacca (Rangers' dad)
